Radiology is a medical specialty that employs the use of imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of disease visualized within the body. Our Radiographers use an array of imaging technologies such as plain and contrast radiography (x-rays) and Ultrasound scan, for the diagnosis of ailments.

WHEN SHOULD I HAVE an ultrasound SCAN DONE?
• When I am Pregnant
• Suspected abdominal injury following accidents
• Pain in any part of the body
• Swelling or mass on or in the body
• Suspected hernia
• Persistent fever of unknown cause.
PATIENT PREPARATION
• ULTRASOUND SCAN: You may be required to drink water in order to have a full bladder or have overnight fasting.
OPERATING HOURS
We are open from 8:00 Am to 5:00 Pm Monday to Friday.
9:00 Am -3:00 Pm on weekends and public holidays.
On-call staff isk available thereafter.
